Orange Foliage Fades to Yellow
Coral Bells Southern Comfort, Heuchera \’Southern Comfort’, has orange foliage that has dark veins. The leaves emerge pumpkin orange and fade to a yellow -peachy-orange as the season progresses. It grows into a tidy 14\’-22\’ mound with 12″-14″ spread.
It will grow in partial shade, but does well in full shade. Stalks with tiny white bell shaped flowers emerge in summer and continue through frost.
It looks especially good around the edge of borders, near variegated plants, woodland edges, rock gardens, perennial borders, or in mass to form an attractive ground cover.
Excellent in partly shaded borders, under trees, and even mixed into ornamental containers on shady patios.
