Garden Plant: Tuscan Sun Sunflower
Product Description: Tuscan Sun Sunflower
Enjoy Bright Yellow Flowers all Summer Long
Tuscan Sun Sunflower (Heliopsis \’Tuscan Sun’ PP18,763) is the shortest, most well-behaved of the native ox-eyed daisies on the commercial market today and we are proud to be selling it.
This little daisy covers itself in sunshine-yellow flowers with orange-gold centers all summer. Not only does it command attention in your garden, the little stems are stiff enough to bring arm loads of flowers into your home for flower arrangements, too. But you don’t have to cut the flowers. This is one of the few daisies that doesn’t need dead-heading to thrive and continue to pump out flowers.
You aren’t going to be the only one to notice the flowers, either – butterflies and bees love to visit them, too.
Plant Tuscan Sun Sunflowers in full sun or light shade, in the perennial border or the flower bed. Thriving in almost any soil – even poor, infertile soils – this is a tough cookie that will bring you smiles year after year.
