This cultivar, being noticeably denser, is an improvement because it will require less shearing. \’First Edition Technito Arborvitae is an attractive low-maintenance hedge or screen that is useful as a vertical accent in foundations and borders!
The reason for arborvitae popularity probably lies in their versatility. Whether used for screening or as a specimen, there is an arborvitae cultivar in just the right size or shape for almost every yard. Easy to grow, arborvitae does best in full sun and moist to well-drained soils. This evergreen tolerates partly shaded locations but the foliage may not be as full and dense.
