The Snowcap Shasta Daisy, Leucanthemum superbum \’Snowcap’, has 3 inch, bright, large, white beautiful flowers with yellow eyes.
These flowers are held above dark-green foliage that boasts shiny, bright-green leaves and a bushy, mounded appearance.
\’Snowcap’ has a long bloom period and a compact growth habit. Deadheading the plant will extend the bloom time.
Water \’Snowcap’ plants weekly when rainfall is less than an inch, and remove faded flower heads to encourage more blooms.
Combine \’Snowcap’ with yellow Black Eyed Susan and Rudbeckia Goldsturm for great form and contrast. Plant in mass plantings or in the perennial border; use as cut flowers.
