This coral bell shows off its pinkish-white flowers that stand tall on dark stems in summer.
Its foliage changes to a silver with a purple tint in winter. More sunlight is needed for more purple color or it will have a silver overlay.
Cold and drought tolerant and withstanding heat and humidity, nothing seems to phase this plant. But to keep \’Plum Royale’ looking its best, be sure to water in hot, dry weather, giving the plant about one inch of water per week. You candivide clumps in fall.
Attracting butterflies and hummingbirds, this little gem will surely become a “must have” plant for your borders, as a ground cover, in containers or mass plantings.
Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but this coral bell may be tidied up in spring by removing any withered or tired-looking leaves.
