Not only does this beautiful tree carry on the great American tradition of Elms in our cities and gardens, but it is super resistant to the strains of disease that have decimated Elms in the past century.
Its hardiness is evidenced by the sheer number of streets named after this tree used to line them – Elm Street. (We’ll bet that your town has one, too!)
