The Hydrangea Lime Light, Hydrangea paniculata \’Lime Light’, is a vigorous, dependable grower with prolific blooms you can count on time and time again. Shaped into a charming tree form, this extraordinary hydrangea is a fast grower, and is great for ornamental accent or plant several for an informal screen.
\’Lime Light’ has unique pale-green flowers that can reach 10-12″ in length in late August. These lime colored blooms are hard to find, but real standouts when you do! The bright,chartreuse blooms shine from mid to late summer, changing to a pleasing pink in the fall. You can even use the blooms for cut arrangements!
This low maintenance, hardy ornamental requires little pruning. Unlike other hydrangeas, the soil pH won’t be a factor with the Limelight’s performance. This hardy tree is even more drought-tolerant than other varieties.
