\’Clarence’ is a hardy, disease and drought-resistant plant. Long blooming in late spring and early summer, with handsome green sword-like foliage, Clarence enjoys full or part sun and well-drained soil. Plant near pools, ponds and other water-heavy areas.

These Iris are easy to grow and thrive in moist, well-draining soil. They bloom in mid spring for a 2 – 3 week period. Plant bearded Iris bulbs in 10 to 14 day intervals to enjoy a continuous supply of cut flowers. For a more striking effect, plant the bulbs in groups of 20 or more

In cold areas the Iris should be mulched in winter to protect from frost. \’Clarence’ Iris are great for borders, containers, naturalizing, and cut flowers. They are deer, rabbit and squirrel resistant.
