For the sturdiest stems and most plentiful blooms, plant Limetta in full sun. You’ll get the best performance with at least 6 hours of sun.
In hot climates, it’s best to give your plant a planting site with morning sun and afternoon shade. Try a planting site on the east or southeast side of your home or taller evergreen trees.
However, don’t plant Limetta in full shade positions. If they don’t receive enough sunlight, they will develop thinner stems that may have trouble supporting the large flower heads. Full shade will also limit flower production.
Plant in well-drained soil. Elevate your planting with a raised bed, or plant in containers if you have poorly drained soil.
