The horizontal markings are much closer together than other banded miscanthus and they give \’Gold Bar’ a dramatic look.
Its exceptionally upright and compact habit makes this new grass perfect for large containers or in small urban gardens.
Burgundy inflorescences appear just above the foliage in mid fall. \’Gold Bar’ is a slower, but good grower.
Miscanthus is unrivalled in the diversity and beauty of its flowers, foliage, autumn colors and winter presence. It is extraordinarily adaptable to many conditions and purposes in the garden.
