Northern Highbush, Early Season

Earliblue Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum \’Earliblue)\’ is one of the original successful crosses done by Frederick Coville Chief botanist of the USDA in 1911 and 1913. The results became the cornerstones of today’s modern Blueberry.

The Earliblue is an excellent choice for container growing where its stately upright well-mannered growth habit will stand out. Don’t forget to make sure that the potting soil use is acidic, or listed for “Ericaceous” plants like Azalea and Rhododendrons. Add soil Sulphur to stabilize the PH in the 5. 5 or lower range in your container.
