Gold Leaves and Blue Bells

The Bellflower Dickson’s Gold, Campanula garganica \’Dickson’s Gold’, has wonderful lavender-blue, star-shaped flowers over yellow-light green to gold, saw-toothed mounds of foliage. If it is grown in part shade, the foliage will be more chartreuse.

The lavender-blue flowers bloom spring through summer and are a stark contrast to the gleaming foliage. It is drought tolerant once established and prefers moist, well-drained soil. \’Dickson’s Gold’ should be planted in full sun or partial shade.

This ground cover is best used in rock gardens, borders, spilling over walls, and as an edging or in tubs and pots. It attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees, but resists deer and rabbits.

The contrast of blue flowers against the yellowish foliage makes this variety stand out in the border.

  • Blue Blooms All Season
  • Compact Mounds Of Bright Yellow Foliage
  • Attracts Hummingbirds and Butterflies
  • Deer and Rabbit Resistant
