The Eupatorium \’Chocolate Mist Flower’, Eupatorium rugosum, also known as White Snakeroot, has a shiny, deep purple stem with chocolate leaves.
\’Chocolate Mist’ is a wonderful white bloomer that stands tall! It is a definite attraction for butterflies and bees and is deer resistant.
Eupatorium \’Chocolate Mist’ should be planted in full sun, but can tolerate some afternoon shade. Make sure it has a moist, well-drained area for optimal success; adequate moisture and a thick blanket of mulch are effective.
For a rich colorful display, combine this flower with Rudbeckia \’Black Eyed Susan’, Aster \’Woods Purple’, ornamental grasses or in a perennial border.
