Garden Plant: Campfire Rose
Product Description: Campfire Rose
Continuous bloomer can survive a Canadian winter!
\’Campfire’ Shrub Rose (Rosa \’CA 29\’ PPAF) is a relatively new introduction to the rose world. It was named after a beloved painting by a Canadian artist from the 1800\’s and seems poised to stand the test of time equally as well.
Campfire was bred and tested across Canada and is hardy to Zone 3 – it can survive winters down to -35 degrees without damage! Talk about hardy.
Bred to branch at a 45 degree angle, this rose has wonderful width making it a great low hedge or a high groundcover. And what a statement it makes! The glossy green foliage is the perfect backdrop for the smoldering blooms that open a bright yellow and gradually get a hot pink picotee edge. As the season progresses the pink becomes more prominent and the shrub is practically aflame in color.
Considered a \’continuous bloomer’, Campfire will flower constantly in your garden all summer until a hard frost. It will be producing new blooms well into fall for your garden and vase. There aren’t that many roses that can boast such heavy production and there are almost no hardy roses that have that kind of garden impact.
Campfire Shrub Rose is a perfect hardy rose for your flower or cutting garden and is bound to become one of your favorites. Order yours now!
