Amethyst Falls is a native to North America and has the classic look that you love in stunning Chinese wisteria, but is non-invasive so it won’t take over your house or trees and won’t uncontrollably spread to the neighbor’s yard.

Amethyst Falls Wisteria Tree Pruning and Care
Trimming your Amethyst Falls Wisteria tree is simple. Later in the summer in July or August, you should trim back the wild growing branches to bring it back into shape. Trim those branches leaving the stems with five leaves on the branch.
Then in late winter or early spring, trim those same branches reducing the branches leaving only two buds where the leaves were attached now. Those two buds on each branch will produce the best flower displays.
