In late summer through fall, the plants are completely covered with lilac-blue, daisy-like flowers. The depth of color against their dark-green leaves will certainly draw the eye!
\’Peter IIi’ looks stunning when planted with fall blooming ornamental grasses! Also perfect for borders, mass plantings, in perennial gardens and butterfly gardens.
Asters are easy care and low maintenance. Tolerant of many soil types and fairly drought tolerant, these beauties love the sun! Pinching back the stem tips in late spring and early summer will produce denser growth and heavier blooming. This plant may be divided every few years in the spring.
