The leaves are evergreen, long and slender, and are arranged in dense fountain-like clumps. The real show starts in midsummer when the spectacular white plumes suddenly erupt from the foliage and reach up to one foot long. The feathery plumes persist and the foliage turns golden brown when touched by frost and cold weather. \’
Pampas’ Grass is highly adaptable and can grow in a wide range of environments and climates. Provide full sun and fertile well-drained loamy soils; occasionally water during times of drought to keep plant looking good.
